The Anti-Terrorism Act
Inexplicably, terrorism is not a crime in West Virginia. Threats of terrorism are crimes, but not terrorism itself. During the last legislative session, I submitted a bill to make terrorism a crime. It passed the Homeland Security Committee in the House, but the Judiciary chairman, Moore Capito, now running for Governor, bizarrely refused to consider the bill to protect the People of West Virginia.
As the Left's agenda loses popularity, it is rapidly turning to terrorism and intimidation, using groups like Antifa, Black Lives Matter, to advance its causes and achieve its goals of destruction. Terrorists, like Hamas and al-Qaida, are also infiltrating Biden’s open borders. Since the Biden regime, and the Democrat Party, is condoning and encouraging terrorism, our state government must do more to prevent terrorism. This means making terrorism a crime.
The Biden regime is also using legal terrorism to persecute patriotic Americans. The Department of (in)Justice is using state terrorism to attack the citizens of this country for their God-given rights under the U.S. Constitution. Parents and others exercising their First Amendment rights are being targeted as terrorists. Opponents of the Biden regime/Democrat Party are being targeted for arrests, including use of excessive force.
We need to better define terrorism, which is a threat to destroy the fabric of our country, and ensure that the punishment is equal to the threat. We also must prevent the entry of terrorists into West Virginia. Entities that support terrorists and terrorist groups should be chargeable as accessories to terrorism.
My bill is posted on my website here.
We cannot let the Biden Regime state terrorism or Leftist surrogate terrorist groups, or foreign terrorists, like Hamas, threaten our People and our Liberty.
