Prohibiting Entry of Illegal Aliens

As I mentioned in my House Bill 3137 Prohibiting Illegal Alien Human Smuggling, illegal immigration is a critical threat to our country. No single solution will stop this scourge. Because the Biden regime is engaged in undermining our border and our immigration system, we need to use as many tools as we can derive. 

My bill to Prohibit Entry of Illegal Aliens into West Virginia parallels Texas Senate Bill 4, in which Texas will charge illegal aliens with a state misdemeanor.  If the illegal alien agrees to return to Mexico, the charges will be dropped. If they return, then the illegal alien will be charged with a felony. 

My bill has some necessary adaptations, given we are not on the border, but it accomplishes a similar purpose. It will complement what the federal government should be doing, and under a sane federal government will do correctly in the future.
